Louis Pavone has been a partner of the law firm Loss & Pavone since 1981. Prior thereto from 1978 to 1981 Louis worked for the Internal Revenue Service as an Examiner for the Estate and Gift Tax division. He and his wife, Ann Marie, have three adult children, Louis Jr., Anthony, and Michael. Louis concentrates his areas of practice to Estate Planning, Asset Protection Planning, Business Succession Planning, Retirement Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Transactions, Entity Organizations, Corporate Acquisitions, and Federal Taxation. In the Estate Planning and Asset Planning context, Louis also provides counsel to families with spouses and children who are struggling with addiction. He advises them regarding the various alternatives in providing for these struggling individuals while avoiding enablement culture to help lead the individuals down a path to recovery.
When not practicing law, Louis is a sports enthusiast having coached 10-18 year old boys basketball teams for 15 years. However, his interest in sports is not limited to basketball. In his leisure, he spends time at the health club, playing golf, and spending quality time with his grandchildren.
In his community, Louis served as a member of the Deacon Board at Bloomingdale Church. He also serves as a Board Member of the Bloomingdale Fire and Police Commission. In addition, Louis is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, WealthCounsel, Advisors Forum, DuPage County Estate Planning Counsel, Justinian Society of Lawyers, and the Christian Legal Society.
