Randall F. Inniss is a DWI and Criminal Defense attorney who founded a boutique law firm and practices in the Hudson Valley region. A former 222 year state trooper, Randall joined the New York State Police at age 21. During the rigorous, 6 month state police academy, Randall was introduced and immersed into a wide-range of criminal, procedural, Vehicle and Traffic and other selected laws.

Vestiges of that training lives on. As an attorney, Randall holds an Instructor level qualification in Standardized Field Sobriety testing, the roadside tests officers give to stopped motorist suspected of driving under the influence.

While a full-time state trooper and having risen in the state police investigative ranks, Randall completed his Bachelor's Degree from Binghamton University with Honors and thereafter attended the University at Buffalo School of Law. He successfully completed his Juris Doctor and LL.M. (Masters of Laws) degrees while working full-time for the state police.

During law school, Randall interned in major District Attorney's and state Attorney General's offices.

Randall has worked closely with local and federal authorities (FBI, DEA, INS, & Secret Service) in major state and federal investigations in many states.
While working for the state police he was qualified before the court to provide expert testimony for other police agencies in select areas of organized crime and narcotics.

Randall's 2-plus decades in the criminal justice system has forged a rare knowledge, insight and experience level that is significant as a criminal defense attorney. His rare insight from handling major law enforcement investigations and experience from working alongside prosecutors and state attorney's general provide significant insight in his boutique criminal defense practice. Randall knows and implements that perspective of law in his practice!
